I’m picking this quote for today because it’s something I want to apply to my own life. Lately, whenever I’ve wanted something, I’ve tried to force myself into it or force it to come to me, and usually it just ends up not working out or feeling unnatural. At the same time, I feel like there’s a fine line between being proactive and letting things come to you, because neither way is exclusively effective–instead, I want to establish a balance that will make me as happy as possible.
