Long time no see, everyone 😬 not gonna lie, I lost motivation to post for a VERY long time. Sadly, my reading has slowed down quite a bit this year as I explored other hobbies (check out my art ig @_laurensart ) and started to work on college applications...both of which are terrible excuses. But I really want to get back on track and this is a first step! I've also posted a couple reviews on my blog, so go click the link in my bio if you'd like to read them! I'm also slowly starting to accept review requests again, so shoot me an email if you're interested. Also, I know A Crown of Wishes came out a while ago, but this series is still one of my favorites. I haven't posted in so long, and saying that "I was busy" is becoming a regular comment in almost all of my posts. I'm sorry, but I don't think I can promise regularity or consistency for at least a few months while I get used to my new schedule. Anyway, I got this super cute agenda from Target that matches some of my other stationery, so of course I had to take a picture. I also finished this lovely book a few days back and the link to my review will be in my bio :) I have my blog all sorted out now and I'm really proud of how it turned out. The desktop version looks much better than the mobile version though. I also wanted to comment about the huge number of people who found copies of Empire of Storms that came out early! They're so nonchalant about it, too. I. Am. So. Jealous. I would be running around like a chicken with its head cut off, even if I found now, only a day early. Throne of Glass is one of my favorite series of all time, and one that is very near and dear to my heart. I've been waiting for the release of each one since the first book came out, so I've practically grown up with Aelin and watched as Sarah's writing developed and became the awesomeness that it is today. I will honestly probably start crying just holding the book 😂 (I laugh but it's true). Sorry for the long and boring caption! You've probably seen a variant of this photo many many times, but one can never have too much Harry Potter. • I'm giving this read 🌟🌟🌟🌟. I really loved the story- it was surprisingly unique. I was skeptical that it would be a similar version of Harry's own story, but it was quite different. I really missed the characters, so it was easy to delve back into the world. Draco was especially interesting. I enjoyed his dynamic with Hermione (DRAMIONE FOREVER. Page 286, check it for yourself), but I really love how his relationship with Harry evolved. 😪 It was all very sweet. The reason I'm not giving it the full five stars is because the format kind of messed with my head. I wanted detailed descriptions, because to me, that's where the magic comes from. Since I already had all the books and movies to go off of, imagining the characters and setting wasn't too difficult, but I still wanted to SEE things better. The script was well-written, and I'm sure it's an excellent play, but I really just wanted a book. Also, happy belated birthday to JK Rowling! #harrypotter #harrypotterandthecursedchild
